Labour increasing congestion and pollution in LBHF

Rivercourt Road

Labour are hellbent on balkanising our borough into harmful Clean Air Neighbourhoods (CANs), including Rivercourt Road in Ravenscourt Park.

The two CANs in Fulham have already destroyed businesses and led to increased congestion. Last year local Conservatives joined forces with local businesses and residents to successfully oppose Labour’s proposed CAN in Brackenbury village.

Now they have made Rivercourt Road in Ravenscourt Park a CAN. This will displace over 3000 vehicles a day on to other roads, reduce parking in Zone M and stop people from neighbouring Chiswick from exiting Rivercourt Road onto King St.

Most worryingly , there is a major concern about accidents at the junction with the A4, as drivers abort mission at the last minute

If elected in May 2026, a Conservative council administration will abolish it at the earliest opportunity. It is not needed and is just another money making ploy from LBHF.
